today mr.EH talked about children in class. its was a Oral prep question, and i was like feeling totally awed by my class' discussion. we talked about:

1. Only/First/Second/Last child advantages/disadvantages
2. Middle Child Syndrome

lol did you know i'm a middle child in my family?

the middle child often have the sense of not belonging. the fight to receive attention from their parents as they feel that they're are ignored or dubbed off. the middle child often lacks drive and looks for motivation from the first child. sometimes, a middle child feels out-of-place because they are not over achievers.

well i agree i'm not an over achiever! sometimes, i really feel my bro and sis get more attention, so i misbehave to get their attention HAHHA. but i guess, the 3 of us are old enough to tell that no matter the order we were born, our parents love us :)

being a middle child might suggest that these people are loners. not willing to take the limelight for anything, they simply work enough to get by. if forced to use their abilities they will work well, but not under pressure.

middle child syndrome are usually characterized by:
1. lack of friends
2. easy-going personality
3. quick loss of interest in things
4. negative outlook on life

eh i agree on point #4 :\

hahaha i like the joke below:

oldest: i just turned 16!
parents: let's go get you a car!

-2 years later-

middle child: yay i'm 16!
parents: urhm, we're still paying for the other car, if you need one, go borrow.
middle child: ..

-3 years later-

youngest: i'm finally 16!
parents: alright! we finished paying for the other car, let's go get you one!
middle child: but it's supposed to be my turn!
youngest: but it's MY birthday.
middle child: thats stupid.
youngest: mummy he called me stupid!
parents: be nice to your sister on her birthday.
middle child: whatever.
