i walked behind an elderly lady, (i say, about 70?) as we board the train.
everybody saw her, but nobody gave up their seats to her :\
stupud kiasu-ism. die die must seat. a man, rushed in when the door opened
and took the 1 empty seat. wahh he damn zai.
i hope when he's old.. nobody gives their seat for him.
ironically, it was another old man, who gave his seat for the lady.
this got me thinking..
are the teens and young adults nowadays forgetting their roots?
who were the ones who brought us up. who gave us their everything. who built singapore.
it's the older generation right.. so why are we treating them like this now?!
what will happen to us in the future then?
would we like it, when nobody gives seats for us, when we're old and frail?
